Working to Build Vancouver Culture

Selina is a genius, we couldn’t have done it without her expertise.  We have a great working relationship and she was the perfect person to do this project. She is an exceptional talent.

Working with a former artist Prevail from Swollen Members, a Vancouver musician who crossed over to the Arts & Culture Scene with a site

Prev (short for Prevail) knew very little about computers but had a big idea.  He wanted to create a community website where he highlighted all the great friends and original concepts for the Vancouver Cultural Scene.  Although he had the vision, he was not quite sure how he would elaborate the project.  We walked across the Burrard Street bridge in Vancouver and while passing by each other after about 10 years or so not seeing each other we breathed some words that seeded a future creation.

We had to break down the concept he had and start organizing a process.  Prev was a great client because he was 100% all about change.  Every idea I had was taken on by him and so the end product was a clear, concise and very branded blog.  This might be one of my most successful projects (besides Denim Gallery Cafe) just because of the creative control I had and the outcome of hard work and communication.

I worked with Prev on his social media presence, ways to create blog posts by himself to save money long term and how to manage his analytics as well as his advertising process, structure and design.  I worked on the website, social media process, content organization and backend development.

Good times 🙂
